The Southeast Georgia Health System is a not-for-profit health care system with multiple locations and services. Headquartered in the historic port city of Brunswick, the Health System serves the needs of residents from six counties in Southeast Georgia – Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn, McIntosh and Wayne.

Nearby major medical facilities like the Mayo Clinic and HCA Memorial Health University Medical Center offer comprehensive healthcare options of national excellence.

K - 12 & Colleges


All counties in the region have made workforce preparedness a top priority.  Proof is in progamming designed to fast track skilled workers for our companies.  Examples include:

  • Camden County has the largest dual enrollment program in the state which allows high school students to fast track their education
  • Glynn County created a technical education complex in the Coastal Pines Technical College center that includes high school level technical training at the Golden Isles College and Career Academy
  • Customized training programs at Coastal Pines Technical College like aerospace and marine studies offer our target industries access to a growing number of potential employees
  • Coop programs with businesses and the Coastal College of GA give companies a chance to groom future employees with on the job training prior to full employment
  • GA Southern University’s Engineering program has expanded the recruitment opportunities of engineers with real work experience in the region
  • Welding programs at two schools in Jacksonville and at Coastal Pines Technical College are filling the gap of that skill set in the region
