Over 5,400 students are enrolled in College of Coastal Georgia and Coastal Pines Technical College in the region. These institutions award almost 1,600 degrees and certificates each year. The State of Georgia HOPE scholarship program allows many students to obtain a degree or certification tuition free!

Georgia Southern University is definitely leading the way in advanced manufacturing. ‘Southern’ is one of the few schools in the entire U.S. to have an advanced level degree in Mechatronics. Golden Isles College and Career Academy
Golden Isles College and Career Academy is a public charter school in Glynn County that has 18 vocational programs (aka Career Pathways). The Career Academy is located directly across from the Brunswick-Golden Isles Airport and adjacent to the Coastal Pines Technical College’s Brunswick Campus. Graduates from the Golden Isles College Career Academy of a huge jump start on skills that are required in the workplace – including soft skills.
